Description
Black and white photograph looking down into the lock, shows workmen stood on the canal bed with a small amount of water remaining in the lock. A small dam has been built with sacks, there appears to be a pump on the left of the photograph. The dam was being prepared so work could be done on the cill of the lock gates.
