Diver descending at Gloucester Docks
Description
Black and white photograph showing the diver [possibly Henry Sparks] who is lowering himself into the canal from a work flat. There are men on the work flat who are hand operating breathing apparatus connected to the helmet of the diver. There is a crowd of people beside the canal, including the Pready family. In the background there are carts loaded with sacks [probably grain] and part of a warehouse is visible.
