"Docks from Swing Bridge, Sharpness"
Description
Black and white photograph looking taken from the High Level Bridge looking towards the docks beyond the low swing bridge, the Spanish ship SS "Juan de Astigarrage" can be seen on the right of the canal. [The ship was carrying 7000 tons of cargo from River Plate, possibly renamed Redstone.] There are other vessels moored at the docks and warehouses beside the canal, including "Severn Ports Warehousing Co Ltd".
