Steam barge 'Trent' on the Bridgwater Canal approaching Marsland Road Bridge, Brooklands, Trafford.
Description
Black and white photograph taken from beside the canal, shows the steam barge which is towing the boats 'Sunflower' and 'Ellen' along the canal. There are boatmen on the barge which is 50 yards on the Manchester side of Brooklands station looking towards Runcorn. The barge is heading towards Marsland Road bridge, there are houses in the background.
