Construction of the Foxton Inclined Plane
Description
Black and white photograph showing the inclined plane at an early phase of its construction. Taken from the bottom left side of the plane the photograph shows the concrete tracks to which steel rails were fixed. The chimney and frame of the top of the engine house can also be seen.
