Narrowboat going down Foxton Locks

Description

Black and white photograph of a narrowboat passing down through the locks at Foxton. Shows a woman pulling the boat with a rope, and a young girl sitting on one of the lock paddles looking at the camera. There is also a man standing with a horse on the bank. Taken looking up the locks with the two top lock-keepers' cottages and another boat in the background. Appears to have been taken during the winter as the people are wearing a lot of clothing and there is frost on the ground.
