Description
Front of volume contains lists of stationery sent to various destinations on the Huddersfield Canal, 1877. Details include date, quantity, species, number and amount. Traffic register follows this, 1879-1883. Details include date, station, name of boat, owner, captain, weight, description of goods carried, cranage or wharfage, rate, amount, and remarks. Also calculation tables [possibly for pay] 1886-1891, list of staff names and dates of birth, canal rents, number and list of men employed on Huddersfield Canal with details of their pay, position, dates of employment, and age at entry. Loose in volume: lists of corporation pegs put in 1886-1892.
