Description

Views of the lock with the Admiral Nelson public house alongside showing narrowboat pairs ascending and descending the lock. Pairs include the motorboat Buckden with the butty Poplar breasted up and the butty Exe being towed by a motorboat. Exe and its motor are sheeted up and flying large Union Jack flags. A boatman from one ascending pair can be seen pulling the far gate shut with a rope
