William Smith narrowboats at Buckby on the Grand Junction Canal
Description
Black and white photograph taken by T W Millner, shows the "William Smith at Braunston" horse drawn narrowboats, "Reliance" and "Friendship", in Lock number 9 at Buckby. Taken from the side of the canal looking towards the back ends of the boats, there are boat men and women in traditional dress posing for the photograph.
