Pair of Grand Union Canal Carrying Company Limited narrowboats at Fenny Stratford embankment
Description
Black and white photograph taken by C Harlow, the narrowboats are the butty "Lambourne" and the motor 'Baldock' and are loaded with cars for export. Taken from the side of the canal looking towards the back end of the butty where there are several people stood, the motor can be seen in the distance. There is another small boat on the canal with "G. U. C. Co", "No 129" written on the side.
