Pair of Grand Union Canal Carrying Company Limited narrowboats exiting the Blisworth Tunnel

Description

Black and white photograph taken by C Harlow, the pair of narrowboats are the motor 'Baldock' and the butty 'Lambourne', they are loaded with cars for export and are leaving the south end of the tunnel. Taken from the side of the canal looking towards the bow of the motor, the butty is visible behind it emerging from the tunnel.
