Black and white photograph showing 3 women trainees and a dog on the back of the Grand Union Canal Company Limited butty narrowboat 'Uttoxeter'. Shows a close up of the back of the boat, "No 145" and "382" are visible on the side of the cabin. The motor narrowboat 'Battersea' can be seen in the background with "G.U. 12642" visible on the side of the cabin.
