Black and white photograph taken by H C Davies [Clerk of Works, British Waterways Thames Lock; 33 St. Johns Road, Welling, Kent] showing the side of the canal at the Thames Lock in Brentford after it had been damaged by flood water. Part of the side appears to have collapsed with a section of hand rail hanging off the end.
