"Knowle Top during widening"
Description
Black and white photograph of Knowle Top during widening. Taken looking towards the development work from an elevated position, it can be seen where the canal has been widened as there is a wooden structure seperating the original section from the extended part. It can also be seen where a new stretch of canal and set of lock gates have been built to the right of the old canal and lock gates. There are numerous workers and pieces of machinery around the site.
